The San Francisco International Airport is soliciting proposals from firms with "qualified airport wildlife biologist", as defined in the Federal Aviation Administration''''s Advisory Circular 150/5200-36, Qualifications for Wildlife Biologist Conducting Wildlife Hazard Assessments and Training Curriculums for Airport Personnel Involved in Controlling Wildlife Hazards on Airports, and 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 139.337, Wildlife Hazard Management. The selected Consultant will assist Airport staff (1) minimize wildlife attractants and habitat, (2) implement the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan (WHMP), (3) conduct a Wildlife Hazard Assessment according to 14 CFR Part 139.337, if required, and (4) other related wildlife management duties on a part-time basis.
